Gerard is responsible for the custodial services business of the bank in Malaysia which offers custody and fund services, amongst others, to domestic and foreign financial institutions and brings with him more than 15 years of capital & financial markets experience. A large part of his role now includes SCBMB’s Digital Assets buildout where Gerard guides and supports SCBMB’s Digital Assets projects, including the MYR regulated stablecoin initiative under the Digital Asset Innovation Hub of Bank Negara Malaysia.
